About the conference

It is our pleasure to invite you to participate in the Second International Congress of Cancer Sciences (ICSC 2024) that will be held from 12 to 14 October 2024 in Cagliari (Italy).
ICSC 2024 is the second inaugural meeting in a new series of conferences for discussing critically new paradigms in cancer science to inspire innovative strategies for treating this disease.
The Scientific Committee has developed a spectacular program highlighting cutting-edge advances in basic, translational, and clinical oncology.
A few places are available for invited lectures and oral communications.
We are thrilled to invite you to present your groundbreaking research at the International Cancer Science Congress (ICSC 2024).
We encourage you and your young collaborators to take advantage of this unique platform to showcase your latest research findings.

NOTE: This is a financially non-sponsored and self-supported series of conferences. We have no Conflict of Interest with commercial or pharmaceutical industry. Speakers are selected by the Organizing committee based on the CV and Abstract.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR REGISTRATION
Please, note that this is a two-step process.
FIRST: you must book full-board accommodation at Hotel Baia di Nora through the website https://booking.hotelbaiadinora.com/.eshop indicating the promotional code ICSC2024 (which grants a discounted rate). After payment, you will receive an email of confirmation with the booking code. TRANSPORTATION TO/FROM AIRPORT: it can be booked together with the accommodation.
SECOND: you must register at https://sardiniacocs.it/registrationICSC2024.html. Download and fill-in the registration form (here you must insert the Hotel Booking Code) and send it via e-mail. You are entitled to 50 Euro discount if you have attended the previous conference or have pre-booked your seat via e-mail by March 31st. You can pay with PayPal or Bank transfer (no credit card).

INSTRUCTION FOR ABSTRACT SUBMISSION and AWARD APPLICATION
Once that you have booked the hotel (first step) and registered (second step), you can proceed to submit the Abstract and the application for Travel grant or Registration fellowship (please send via email to beatrice.garavaglia@uniupo.it or letizia.vallino@uniupo.it).
AWARDS BEST COMMUNICATION
– Three Best Oral Communication (ONLY Post-Docs < 40 years old)
– Three Best Short Communication (ONLY PhD students)
AWARDS TRAVEL GRANT and REGISTRATION FEE
– Two Travel Grant sponsored by the Journal of Cancer and Metastasis Treatment (500 USD) and by Comoli-Ferrari (500 Euro) (Post-Docs < 40 years old and PhD students)
– Two Registration fee for PhD students affiliated to CIB granted by Consorzio Interuniversitario per le Biotecnologie (CIB).
Selection Criteria for Awards:
1. Research Work: the originality and quality of research
2. Presentation: the presenter’s quality of communication (ability to convey the research and its results to the audience; keeping in time)
3. For the travel grant the priority is given to candidates from distant countries
Selection and Announcement of Awards:
The selection of proposals will be done by the Conference Organizing Committee of academic representatives.
The announcement and Award distribution will be done at the closing ceremony of the conference.
